Browsing and hosting

You do not need an account to read this website. We do not offer user accounts, comments, or payments on the site. Our hosting and delivery services, including Vercel and Cloudflare where used, process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and timestamps to deliver and secure the website. Their processing and retention are governed by the applicable service arrangements and provider policies.

Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which guides are visited and how the website is used. Our analytics tag does not load until you select “Accept analytics”. If you reject analytics, we do not send your visits to Google Analytics. You can still read every guide.

After acceptance, Google Analytics may process page visits, interactions, approximate location, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. We configure this tag with Google signals and advertising personalization signals disabled. Analytics consent does not grant advertising consent.

We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage under dawnwalker-analytics-consent until you change it or clear site data. Accepted analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page. Rejecting after previously accepting disables the tag, clears accessible first-party GA cookies, and reloads the page; it does not retroactively erase information already processed by Google.

Use “Analytics settings” in the footer at any time to change your choice.

Video players and external links

YouTube embeds display a locally hosted preview until you click “Load YouTube video”. That action connects your browser to YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player at youtube-nocookie.com. Google then receives technical connection data; playback may use cookies or other storage and is governed by Google’s policies. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data is processed. Loading a video does not enable our Google Analytics tag.

Other videos are hosted by the game publisher and load when you choose to play them. The media host receives the information required to deliver the video. Following links to stores, official sites, or YouTube opens services with their own privacy policies.

Adsterra Native Banner advertising

The Adsterra Native Banner script loads when a page opens, before any advertising consent action. Adsterra and its partners may process IP addresses, browser and device data, page/referrer information, cookies and other identifiers for ad delivery, personalization and measurement. Advertising content is supplied by third parties, not by the game publisher or our editorial team.

The previous Allow/Reject advertising buttons have been removed. Previously stored dawnwalker-adsterra-consent choices are no longer read and do not prevent the script from loading. Browser controls may block third-party scripts or cookies. Clearing stored data does not erase information already transmitted. Google advertising

This website loads the Google AdSense script to connect to Google for site review, consent messages and eligible advertising. Loading the script shares technical connection data, including your IP address and browser information; it does not mean the site has been approved or that an ad will appear. When Google ads are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted and consented to, personalize advertising based on visits to this and other websites.

Where required for Google advertising, advertising choices are presented through a Google-certified consent-management message, separately from our optional analytics controls. You may refuse or manage advertising consent in that message. Use the Google privacy and cookie settings link when displayed to revisit those choices. Non-personalized advertising can still involve storage or processing for measurement and security. We will not treat acceptance of analytics as acceptance of advertising.

If you email us, we receive your address and the information you include. We use it to respond to questions, investigate corrections or technical issues, and handle privacy or rights-holder requests. Correspondence is handled through Gmail. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Contact us to ask about access to or deletion of correspondence you have provided; we may need limited information to verify and handle your request.

Your choices and requests

You can reject optional analytics, change your choice, clear browser storage, decline to load external media, and use the controls offered by Google. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, objection, or complaints to a data protection authority. Email us to discuss a request.
